Here at Smile Matters we choose to use Digital Dental X-Ray technology by DEXIS. One of the many reasons is that digital dental x-rays are environmentally friendly. We no longer have to process the films with all those chemicals that have to be disposed of, usually somewhere in our environment. Digital dental x-rays take less time to process, the state of the art sensor is more comfortable than traditional cardboard films in your mouth, the radio-graph is clearer, so diagnosis is easier, and exposure to radiation is 90% lower than traditional x-rays.
